City - Belem – Amazon Rainforest Culture Capital
Number of Participants: approximately 800 registered participants.
Belem, also known as the Entrance Gateway to the Amazon Rainforest, offers many possibilities for exercising culture and leisure. The city is rich in History, culture, colors, scents, tastes and Nature, all of which may be seen in its many touristic spots. The capital of the State of Para is thriving as a fantastic touristic site in Brazil.
The weather in Belem is hot and humid, typically equatorial and under direct influence of the rain forest.
The city architecture, especially from the period of the Belle Époque, fostered at the times of the rubber trade is worth been observed.
It is one of the cities with the most trees in Brazil, with tunnels of mango trees in its avenues and two large intact “stripes” of the RAINFOREST, in the urban area.
The state gastronomy, one of the most typical in the country, offers a huge variety of seafood, as well as freshwater fish. The attractive features of this venue will certainly impress in a positive way al the participants of the 37th Congress of the SBCCV.

HANGAR – CONVENTIONS AND TRADE SHOW CENTER OF THE AMAZON FOREST
The Hangar is one of the most modern conventions center in the country, in regard to comfort and technology, offering in the midst of the Rainforest a space with quality and tuned with the environment.
- Total area: 63 thousand square meters, 24 thousand been of built-up land, divided in two pavilions.
- The Exhibit and Trade Show Area roofing is completely transparent in day and night time, with an infra structural system which includes water, electricity, gas, telephone, compressed air, and logics, all inserted in a tubing system with outlets at every four meters, in the floor. The ceiling height reaches up to seven meters, free.
- Large auditorium with comfortable seats that may be divided in up to 8 independent rooms.
- Restaurant for up to 2,000 meals/hour.
- Complete climatization and a colossal garden with plants originated only from the Amazon flora.
- Five minutes from Belem International Airport and close to the heart of the town and many hotels.
